Car audio systems – In the 1980s and 1990s, a car’s audio system was supposed to generate sounds without much attention to their quality. The selectivity and purity of the sounds were less important, although there were exceptions in this regard. However, just as in our homes there is a fashion for high-fidelity devices from renowned manufacturers in the premium segment, also in cars high-quality, even excellent, systems from manufacturers such as SONY (e.g. Ford), Harman Kardon (e.g. BMW) or Bang & Olufsen (Audi) began to appear.
